How much gas do I have left?

When you lift the lid of your tank you will see a round gauge about 2” in diameter. The needle will point to the amount (percent, not gallons) you have left.

Propane Safety

If you smell gas, immediately put out all smoking materials and any open flames. In addition, don't use any cell phones, appliances or lights as sparks or flames from these devices may trigger an explosion or fire. If you smell propane gas that you suspect may be leaking, immediately leave the area and get everyone out of the area or the building where you suspect that gas might be leaking. Once you've left the area, you should try to shut off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank, once it is safe to do so.

Once you've exited the area and are safely away from the source of the gas smell, you should report the leak immediately from a neighbor's home or other location by calling Blue Flame Gas immediately. If you can't reach your propane retailer, call 911 or your local fire department immediately. Above all, do not re-enter the building until your propane retailer or fire department has determined that it is safe to do so.

Finally, you should always have a qualified service technician from your local propane retailer perform a complete system check and any of your propane appliances to be sure they are completely leak-free before you attempt to use any of them.
